On December 19th, the Chairman of the Indonesia Investment and Downstream Minister/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, visited the Huayou Quzhou base for inspection and exchange. The Chairman of Huayou Holding Group, Chen Xuehua, warmly received him along with Liu Jincheng, the Chairman of EVE Energy. During their meeting, they held a discussion session.

In the discussion, Minister Rosan thanked Huayou for its warm reception and investment development in Indonesia, fully recognizing Huayou's high-quality project investments and achievements there. He pointed out that Huayou had completed Indonesia's first integrated lithium battery material production chain from mining smelting to refining and then to ternary precursor materials, aligning perfectly with the Indonesian government's downstream industrial chain policy. Additionally, it provided nearly 20,000 job opportunities, contributing significantly to Indonesia's economic development and local community welfare.

Minister Rosan further acknowledged Huayou's efforts over six years in promoting downstream products of nickel resources in Indonesia, not only establishing high-quality lithium battery material projects but also actively seeking joint ventures and cooperation with local enterprises, attracting renowned companies in the global new energy lithium battery industry chain to invest in Indonesia. This made Huayou's projects in Indonesia more open, diverse, and inclusive, adding vitality to the downstream processing of nickel products in Indonesia.

Chairman Liu Jincheng expressed gratitude for Chen Xuehua's invitation and introduced that EVE Energy has over 40 years of experience in lithium battery research and manufacturing, forming a strong and united upstream and downstream industrial chain. It collaborates with top automotive brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz and has achieved international layout in Indonesia, Malaysia, Hungary, etc., laying the foundation for EVE Energy's global advantage through cooperation with Huayou on the Huafei project in Indonesia.

Chairman Chen Xuehua welcomed Minister Rosan's visit and thanked Chairman Liu Jincheng for his attendance. He reported on Huayou's investment situation and future development plans in Indonesia, emphasizing the willingness to increase investment further, combine its industrial advantages with Indonesia's resource advantages, and contribute to the prosperity of the upstream and downstream industries in Indonesia.

Before the discussion, Mr. Rosan and his team inspected green refining production lines, precursors, ternary positive electrode intelligent production lines, and the research and development center, giving high praise to Huayou's leading process technology, intelligent production lines, and modern factories.

Indonesia is an important partner in China's "Belt and Road" initiative and a strategic high ground for the company's second entrepreneurial journey.
